Notice of Proposed NAASC Bylaws Amendments and Upcoming Listening Sessions

In accordance with Article IX – Amendments of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) By-Laws, this communication serves as official notice to the membership of proposed amendments to the NAASC Bylaws. These proposed amendments will be presented for a vote during the NAASC Annual Business Meeting on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 9:30 AM.

As stipulated in Article IX, amendments to the By-Laws may be adopted by a two-thirds vote of members present and voting at the Annual Meeting, provided written notice of the proposed changes has been given to the membership at least thirty (30) days in advance.

To support transparency, dialogue, and engagement, two virtual listening sessions have been scheduled to provide opportunities for members to ask questions and gain clarity about the proposed amendments prior to the May meeting:
