The style guide was developed to ensure effective and consistent communication of digital information created and published on behalf of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College.
Naming Conventions
Formal Name: The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College, Inc.
Acronym: NAASC

Choose a domain name (web address) that incorporates the NAASC identity: example houstonnaasc.org
Our logo
The NAASC logo, designed in 1976, may only be used for officially sponsored events and activities, on websites, social media, emails, e-newsletters, and invitations in digital form for circulation among members, upon approval by the executive committee.

The Digital Palette
Color is more than an aesthetic choice. The official NAASC color palette was created to achieve good contrast in the interest of legibility across all digital channels. It is important to represent the organization by using branded colors to ensure a consistent experience for its audiences.

Common Logo Mistakes
Please avoid:
Reproducing the logo using unauthorized colors
Using outdated logos or logos not provided by the NAASC
Recreate or change the typeset
Distort, stretch, or condense the logo
Use a logo where the text within the logo is inconsistent in size
Using the official Spelman Seal (exclusively reserved for Spelman official communications NOT the NAASC)
